Custom Credential Expiration for Certificates
Having an expiration date that serves you reduces admin work significantly. So, we’ve rolled out custom credential expiration for certificates and templates, letting you control how long issued credentials stay valid. Let’s learn how to use this feature!
⭐️ How To Modify Credential Expiration for Certificates?
Head to the Credentials tab in the Memberships section and click the three dots next to your desired document.

Select the Set Expiry option.

Pick Custom Date from the expiry options.

Enter your desired expiration date, then click Save.

⭐️Why Is This Feature Beneficial To Your Company?
Specific Date-Expiration: This gives you flexible expiry rules without manual follow-ups, allowing you to set specific dates that don’t change with the certificate’s issuance.
Quick Selection Options: We’ve added relative options, including 3 to 36 months, allowing you to pick between the most common expiry dates relative to the credentials issue date.
Configurable Reminders: Reduce expired-credential surprises with timely reminders directly during expiration configuration.
From never expiring to a fixed date, or relative durations from the date of issue, this grants you full control over your certificates, ensuring you can keep learners coming to renew their certifications or provide them with a permanent credential that minimizes manual work. We hope you enjoy it!
