File Share Notifications in the Client Portal
Businesses frequently share important files with clients through the Client Portal, but previously, clients had no automatic notification that a new document was shared. To fix this, we’ve added file-share notifications while still providing clients control over them. Let’s learn how to upload files and change notification preferences with this update!
⭐️ How To Share Files and Change Their Notifications?
Log in to the Client Portal, head to the Shared Files tab, and click “Share file” to upload it from your computer.
To change your notifications, click your profile in the bottom-left corner to open settings.
Switch to the Notification Preferences tab.
Enable or disable In-app & Push Notifications.
⭐️Why Is This Feature Beneficial To Your Company?
File Share Notifications: When an admin shares a file with a contact through the Client Portal, the contact automatically receives a notification that a new file is available.
Improved Client Communication: Keep clients informed whenever important documents, contracts, invoices, or other files are shared, reducing missed updates and improving the overall client experience.
Preference Management: Contacts can decide whether to receive notifications for shared files by updating their notification preferences within the Client Portal, giving them control over their experience.
